Norm Navigator - Digitalized systematic gender equaliy as a leveragepoint for Swedish industry

      Purpose and goal

Norm Navigator wants to strengthen the competitiveness and ability to work with inclusion and belonging in our Swedish industry. This by developing a digital tool with methodology, based on AI, the commitment of central actors and the Norm Engineers´ experiences from gender equality work. The project also strives to reshape Swedish companies´ view of gender equity, through a systematic approach. Although many projects focus on gender equality, this project stands out as unique, combining the understanding of system leverages with business models and advanced technology.

      Expected results and effects

The project will inspire Swedish industry and other central key people and actors about what AI can help us with when it comes to inclusion. As well as, in the 3-year term, change the view of gender equality as a "soft issue" and move the issue to the strategic and business-critical level where it belongs. The practical tool that the project will develop can be used to raise Swedish business´s competence and knowledge about how gender equality work can contribute to more successful companies and sustainability.

      Planned approach and implementation

The implementation period for the project is set to 12 months and extends between 2023-11-01 and 2024-10-31. The time plan will be laid out on the basis of five work packages. These are carried out to a certain extent parallel, to create a transfer between the results and enable communication, learning and collaboration. The work packages are: Mapping and current situation analysis, Concept development and data analysis, UX and development, Test and verification as well as Project management, spreading the results and making the project results useful and comprehensible.
